Seed dispersal is the movement or transport of seeds away from the parent plant. Plants have limited mobility and consequently rely upon a variety of dispersal vectors to transport their propagules, including both abiotic and biotic
vectors. Seeds can be dispersed away from the parent plant individually
or collectively, as well as dispersed in both space and time. The
patterns of seed dispersal are determined in large part by the dispersal
mechanism and this has important implications for the demographic and
genetic structure of plant populations, as well as migration patterns and species interactions. There are five main modes of seed dispersal: gravity, wind, ballistic, water and by animals. Some plants are serotinous and only disperse their seeds in response to an environmental stimulus. It can be measured using seed traps.

Taraxacum /təˈræksəkʉm/ is a large genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae. They are native to Eurasia and North and South America, and two species, T. officinale and T. erythrospermum, are found as weeds worldwide. Both species are edible in their entirety. The common name dandelion (/ˈdændɨlaɪ.ən/ DAN-di-ly-ən, from French dent-de-lion, meaning "lion's tooth") is given to members of the genus and, like other members of the Asteraceae family, they have very small flowers collected together into a composite flower head. Each single flower in a head is called a floret. Many Taraxacum species produce seeds asexually by apomixis, where the seeds are produced without pollination, resulting in offspring that are genetically identical to the parent plant.

Saliara (Lantana camara) adalah jenis tumbuhan berbunga dari familia Verbenaceae yang berasal dari wilayah tropis di Amerika Tengah dan Selatan. De Heeren Seventeen
De Heeren XVII atau Gentlemen Seventeen adalah nama untuk direksi Belanda Serikat East India Company (VOC), yang didirikan pada tahun 1602. Yang beranggotakan delapan berasal dari Amsterdam, empat dari Middelburg (Zeeland), dan masing-masing dari empat yang lebih kecil ruang- Rotterdam, Delft, Hoorn, dan Enkhuizen. Anggota ketujuh belas tersebut diangkat oleh Zeeland. Pengurus VOC semula hanya 60 orang, tetapi dianggap terlalu banyak sehingga diadakan pemilihan pengurus dan hanya tinggal 17 orang yang diambil dari beberapa kota. Mereka yang terpilih menjadi pengurus disebut Dewan 17 (De Heeren Seventien atau Tuan-Tuan 17) dan ketika VOC banyak urusannya maka Dewan 17 mengangkat Gubernur Jenderal (Raad van Indie) Pieter Both pada tahun 1610.
